# Metaverse Explained

**The Metaverse** is a collective virtual shared space, created by the convergence of virtually enhanced physical reality and physically persistent virtual spaces, including the sum of all virtual worlds, augmented realities, and the Internet. The term is typically used to describe the concept of a future iteration of the internet, made up of shared, 3D virtual spaces linked together into a perceived virtual universe.

The concept of the Metaverse is even more intriguing within the Play-to-Earn game space, as it serves not only as a place of entertainment and fantasy, but a place that players can play in but also earn with real life implications, where the ownership of in-game assets truly allows the user to live in, play in and invest within the Warena Metaverse.

As the Warena Metaverse expands, our focus is on creating a system that benefits the user as well as aiding in the growth of larger communities and guilds within the Metaverse. The Metaverse will continually help the player succeed further in the game as well as develop their NFT characters and land. This allows the virtual world of Warena to truly be an extension of the real-world life of its players, a place that they can trade, invest, organize, exchange, play, and explore, all in one virtual space.<br>
